Welcome on my website, stranger. My name is Khalid and this is my digital garden. I have been writing since 2011 as a way to explore ideas, document my learning and share what I think is good knowledge. The essays here reflect my journey through philosophy, technology, and social progress. I believe (see "What I believe in?") in the power of rational discourse and empirical evidence to drive meaningful change. My work at the Civics Institute focuses on developing metrics and frameworks to measure societal advancement beyond traditional economic indicators.

I am most interested in the intersection of technology with human values.
